Hi, there. I'm Kate. I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, but I've tucked little pieces of my heart away in the many places that I've had the privilege of calling "home" ever since--Colorado, Maryland, Rhode Island. I got scolded in math class for drawing when I should have been studying, and here we are (I hope you'll forgive me now, Mr. H). 

Being a full-time artist was that floating dream in the back of my mind. "One day," I would tell myself. 

Then I graduated at the height of a global pandemic, and my whole life track was derailed in the best way. After constant job rejections from companies who were focusing on layoffs instead of hiring, I took a break. I told myself that I could take a month off for painting, but I'd come back around to job applications eventually. 

Cue the iconic date of August 17th, 2020. I posted my first National Park TikTok of Zion National Park, and woke up to dozens of orders overnight.

From that day on, applying for jobs was history, and I chased this dream like my life depended on it. Through this journey, I have made so many amazing friends from across the globe, and connected with so many of you.
