FAQ & Shipping Policy
Shipping & Return Policy:
Orders are shipped in 5-7 business days. Custom paintings are shipped upon receipt of 100% of the total payment, including shipping.
Returns and exchanges are not accepted at this time. If an order is lost or damaged in transit, please send an e-mail to hello@katehickmanart.com with your order number and tracking number. Please keep in mind that our team is unable to see any additional information when it comes to tracking.
Please allow your package 14 days from the date of shipping before reporting the package as lost.

- Do you accept wholesale orders?
- How do I make changes to an order I've already placed?
- I can make some adjustments on my end if you email me your order number and the alterations you'd like to make. I'll do my best to help you out!
- Do you make everything in your store?
- Some of my items are hand-made and shipped from my office. However, I've moved into a very small space, and I'm unable to hand-make everything here. So, some items are drop-shipped from another company that makes them for me. This includes the phone cases, posters, tote bags, and apparel. This way, I can offer you products in the full range of designs.
- My order is over $50. Why doesn't it qualify for free shipping?
- Items that are shipped from my office directly are eligible for free shipping. If you're ordered anything from the company that drop-ships for me (aka apparel, phone cases, posters, and totes) those items are ineligible.
- How do I commission you for a painting?
- First of all, I'm super stoked you've chosen me to make this memory for you. You can see my pricing here. Then, you can email me at katehickmanart@gmail.com with the photo of what you'd like me to paint, as well as a range of sizes depending on your budget. I'll get back to you as soon as possible!
- How long do custom orders take?
- They can take anywhere from 1-5 weeks depending on the complexity of the image, my current waitlist, and the size of the piece. I'll give you an estimate upon accepting your custom order.
- Do you ship internationally?
- I currently ship everywhere in the US, as well as internationally with the exclusion of the UK. (For now!)
- Although I can't offer free shipping for international orders due to varying costs, I always include extra goodies to make it worth your while!
- I ship out orders a few times every week. If you need your package shipped sooner because of a birthday, anniversary, etc., email me with your order number and I'll do my best to make it happen!
- Shipping time can vary depending on location, shipping carrier, and other factors.
- Why don't you ship to the UK?
- The new laws require additional legal assistance that I haven't been able to previously hire. I'm actively working to re-introduce UK shipping in 2023.
- Where is my order?
- Please consult the tracking number that you received in your shipping confirmation email upon checkout. My team can only see the same information that you can. If your package has taken longer than expected, I can file an inquiry with the corresponding shipping carrier.
